Job summary

CNO Financial Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead IT SailPoint Security Architect to shape security architecture and defend enterprise information systems. This role will drive adoption of SailPoint ISC, govern access controls, and collaborate with IT and business teams to align with security strategy.

Must have 10+ years in IT with 3+ years as a security architect, strong IAM/Iga knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Remote-friendly within US hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT/security.
• 10+ years IT experience with 3+ years as security architect.
• Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
• Strong understanding of IAM/Iga and Zero Trust principles.
• Experience designing access governance and identity lifecycle solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of SailPoint ISC platform.
• Maintain SoD governance with business, Audit, and apps teams.
• Create security architecture standards for new tech adoption.
• Identify security risks and define requirements for IT projects.
• Define information security strategy with IT leadership.
• Develop dashboards to report information security risk to senior leadership.
• Assess security software/hardware and integration needs.
• Perform third-party security risk assessments, including cloud providers.
• Support SOX, PCI, and HIPAA/HITECH compliance.
