Job summary

Miramar Health Center in Kennewick, WA seeks an Information Services Systems Technician to install, maintain and support workstations, phones and related tech across sites.

You will diagnose hardware and software issues, document inventory, and assist staff with technical problems. Travel to remote YVFWC sites may be required. This role offers competitive pay and strong benefits in a community health setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Approximately 2 years of work experience in technical support is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provides front line support of technology to staff, including setup, configuration, installation, and maintenance of computers, phones, printers and teleconferencing equipment.
• Analyzes, diagnoses and resolves computer hardware and software problems on workstations.
• Resolves problems with peripherals such as phones, printers and keyboards.
• Assists users with technical problems and finds temporary solutions when needed.
• Maintains documentation for equipment and software installation/maintenance in the system.
• Participates in department strategic planning process.
• Travel to remote YVFWC sites for support as needed.

Join our team as an Information Services Systems Technician at Miramar Health Center in Kennewick, WA. The Information Services (IS) Systems Technician performs installation, maintenance, repair and wiring of various workstations, peripherals, telecommunications, and general technology related equipment. This position conducts on-site support including analysis, diagnosis and solutions for hardware and software problems. Utilizes various problem-solving tactics in order to create and implement corrective solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Provides front line support of technology to staff. Services may include, setup, configuration, installation, trouble shooting and general maintenance of computers, phones, printers, video conferencing, and other technical equipment
• Analyzes, diagnoses and resolves computer equipment malfunctions and software problems on workstations
• Analyzes and resolves problems with technology related to peripherals including phones, printers, keyboards, and integrated hardware
• Assists users with technical problems and partners with them to find alternative or temporary solutions when not able to meet the immediate need
• Maintains detailed documentation for equipment inventory and software installation/maintenance and enters this information in the appropriate system
• Actively participates in the department strategic planning process
• This position requires the ability to travel long distances by automobile to remote locations for support purposes of YVFWC sites as needed or assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) is required; certificate of completion from a vocational or technical school is preferred.
• 2 years of work experience providing technological or desktop support is preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage.
