Job summary

Energy Transfer in Texas seeks an experienced electrical/instrumentation technician to install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, PLC/DCS controls, and field devices across plants and pipelines. You will uphold DOT and safety standards while supporting preventive maintenance and on-call duties.

Ideally you hold a high school diploma or GED with 2–4 years of relevant experience, and know Wonderware InTouch, FactoryTalk, RSLogix, and DeltaV.

Qualifications

Valid driver's license with safe driving record required.
Knowledge of motor controls, RTU/I&E devices and end-devices.
Proficiency in MS Office including Outlook and Word.
Experience troubleshooting/configuring control solutions with InTouch Wonderware, FactoryTalk, RSLogix or DeltaV.
Strong understanding of NEC and OSHA 1910 relating to electrical systems.
DOT 192/193/195 testing and documentation knowledge.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, and maintain SCADA systems, plant, pipeline, and compressor equipment.
Read manuals, standards, drawings, and schematics for electrical systems.
Test, calibrate, and document control and safety devices per regulations.
Provide on-call coverage and safety program participation.
Mentor less experienced staff and coordinate with contractors.
