Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Journeyman electrical designation highly preferred.
• Ability to read safety and instruction manuals, blueprints, P&IDs required.
• Knowledge of electrical codes; 120-480V AC, 24 VDC.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable record.

Responsibilities

• Modify, repair or overhaul electronic and electrical equipment and controls.
• Install instrumentation and electrical components safely at sites.
• Troubleshoot control systems and equipment in plants and stations.
• Read and update P&IDs, electrical drawings and diagrams.
• Update drawings and maintain devices, alarms and process controls.
