Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking an I&E Technician to modify, repair, and overhaul electronic and electrical equipment.

You will apply electronics principles to diagnose malfunctions and restore equipment to operation in an industrial setting. Responsibilities include installing instrumentation, troubleshooting control systems on gas compressors, turbines, and drives; reading P&ID drawings; calibrating field instruments; and maintaining PLCs and safety systems while complying with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from a technical trade school or apprenticeship preferred.
• Journeyman electrical designation preferred.
• Ability to read safety procedures, blueprints, P&IDs and manuals is required.
• 5+ years of electrical and instrumentation experience in energy related industry.

Responsibilities

• Install instrumentation and electrical components safely.
• Troubleshoot control systems and complex equipment on gas compressors, turbines, and generators.
• Run conduit, pull wire, change motors, maintain lighting and motor controls.
• Maintain, modify and troubleshoot PLCs to maximize control technology.
• Calibrate and troubleshoot field instrumentation and transmitters, valves, and alarms.
