Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Concord, NC is seeking an Instruments & Electrical Technician to join the maintenance team on a 12-hour night shift (2-2-3 rotation). The role focuses on instrumentation and electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot power systems, calibrate instruments, update drawings, train colleagues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement while following all safety guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or certificate in Electrical Technology highly preferred.
• 3+ years’ experience in an industrial environment performing instrumentation & electrical work, 5+ years preferred.
• Experience supporting instrumentation and control loops for temperature, pressure, tension, and flow.
• Experience with extrusion/lamination/coil/automation is a plus.
• Military technical experience welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation and electrical maintenance functions.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical power systems and drives.
• Read and use electrical schematics and test equipment.
• Install/verify instrument installations and update drawings.
• Operate PIV equipment and support asset start-up.
• Train maintenance personnel and collaborate across teams.
