Job summary

Celgard, LLC in Concord, NC seeks an Instruments & Electrical Technician to join the maintenance team. The role focuses on calibration, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems in a night shift, 12-hour rotation.

Qualifications include 3+ years of industrial instrumentation experience, high school diploma or GED, and preferred associate degree in Electrical Technology. Safety-conscious and collaborative team member is expected.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or certificate in Electrical Technology highly preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in an industrial environment performing instrumentation & electrical work required, 5+ years preferred.
• Experience supporting instrumentation and control loops for temperature, pressure, tension, and flow.

Responsibilities

• Perform instrumentation and electrical maintenance functions including calibrations and preventative maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical power systems, motor drives, control systems, and instruments.
• Understand and safely use test equipment such as voltmeters, Ohm meters, current meters, megohmmeters, oscilloscopes.
• Disassemble, clean, and reassemble production equipment; install and verify instrument installation.
• Support new equipment installations with point-to-point verification prior to start-up.
• Update electrical drawings and procedures, when needed; write detailed written reports.
