Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Project Engineer (I&E) to design and install process control systems for plant and pipeline facilities. The role requires applying instrumentation, control systems and regulatory knowledge to project work across midstream operations.

The successful candidate will have a B.S. in engineering and at least five years of experience in process control and I&E functions, with preferred familiarity in DCS/PLC configurations and standards.

Qualifications

B.S. degree in engineering or related field is required.
Minimum 5 years' experience implementing process control and I&E for plants/pipelines.
Knowledge of documentation standards, regulatory control, loop tuning, DCS/PLC configuration preferred.
Basic knowledge of electrical and instrumentation design.
Experience with Honeywell and Allen-Bradley PLC is preferred.
Ability to work independently and with others; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Engineering and technical support for process control, instrumentation, and measurement technologies for projects.
Design upgrades for control systems, burner management, and shutdown systems.
Provide guidance and estimates for process control project scope.
Support use of standards, specifications, and documentation for plant and pipeline projects.
Participate in operational training related to these systems.
