Williams in Longview, Texas is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Operations Technician II to join the team. You will perform maintenance on natural gas process equipment, troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems, and support Allen-Bradley PLCs and automated control systems.

Responsibilities include installing, testing, and commissioning equipment, adhering to safety standards, and initiating work orders with accurate records.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED is required; at least six months of experience in natural gas or related industry.
• Preferred: Associate degree or two-year technical degree.
• One year of Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) experience with instrumentation troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance, plus experience performing low-voltage electrical work in an industrial environment.
• One year with Allen-Bradley PLC systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and diagnostics, with the ability to support and maintain automated control systems.

Responsabilidades

• Performs maintenance and operational tasks with all natural gas process related equipment and systems.
• Minimizes unplanned shutdowns through root cause analyses and corrective actions with a focus on safety.
• Initiates and completes work orders and requisitions and maintains all records and documents as needed.
• Performs instrumentation troubleshooting, calibration, maintenance, and low-voltage electrical work with limited supervision.
• Troubleshoots and repairs instrumentation, electrical, and control system equipment to minimize downtime and maintain operational reliability.
• Supports the programming, diagnostics, and maintenance of Allen-Bradley PLCs and automated control systems.
• Installs, tests, and commissions instrumentation and electrical equipment while ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Other duties as assigned
