Job summary

INEOS Phenol is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee instrumentation and electrical maintenance activities at the Pasadena, TX site. The role requires directing the I&E team, ensuring safe and compliant maintenance execution, and coordinating with production and engineering to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include developing job plans, managing budgets for labor and materials, and maintaining CMMS data accuracy.

Qualifications

2 years formal training in a technical skill (instrumentation, electrical or mechanical).
5-7 years’ experience in installation, repair and maintenance of related industrial equipment.
2 years of direct supervisory experience and proficiency in safety, equipment repair, work process planning, piping and instrumentation layout, and personnel management techniques and procedures.
Proficiency with office equipment and software including Microsoft Office, SAP and other site-approved digital collaboration tools.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise and provide technical leadership to the I&E maintenance team, including troubleshooting support for instrumentation, controls, power distribution and DCS-related issues.
Plan and organize work schedules to limit unit shutdowns and coordinate with production and engineering.
Develop detailed job plans for I&E work orders including scope, required tools, permits, materials, labor hours and safety considerations.
Coordinate maintenance in production units with production personnel and Engineering Department.
Update CMMS with accurate work order data and backlog information.
