Job summary

INEOS Oxide in League City, TX is seeking an IE Technician responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting operating units to drive process improvements. The role emphasizes safe operation, equipment protection, and delivery of production targets in a petrochemical environment.

You will work within SHE guidelines, coordinate with maintenance teams, and apply knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems to ensure reliability and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least 5 years of maintenance-related experience in a plant & Electrical and Instrumentation designation or NCCER Electrical & Instrumentation Certification.
Possess a current, valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the United States.

Responsibilities

Ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned production units following established operating discipline and procedures.
Maintain plant assets and protective systems integrity to deliver production targets.
Coordinate with Asset Work Execution Supervisors on larger, complex jobs including scope review and timelines.
Troubleshoot failed/underperforming equipment and identify root causes.
Provide elevated technical resource in maintenance repair techniques for the asset.
Support PM compliance by craft, scheduling, and backlog management; assist engineering project teams with asset-related modifications.
