Job summary

CNX Resources Corporation seeks an Instrumentation and Electrical (I&E) Engineer to design, maintain, and optimize automation, control, and power systems across CNX facilities. You will manage electrical infrastructure and field instrumentation from design through startup.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure regulatory compliance, maximize uptime, and execute capital or maintenance projects. Proficiency with DCS, PLCs, SIS and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Instrumentation (ABET-accredited).
• At least 5 years of experience in process control and I&E for plant/pipeline facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical and instrumentation design basics.

Responsibilities

• Support process control, instrumentation, and measurement technologies for projects.
• Assist in control system upgrades and shutdown system upgrades.
• Provide guidance on project scope and estimates.
• Develop and review P&IDs, loop diagrams, and instrument specifications.
• Configure and troubleshoot DCS, PLCs, and SIS.
• Participate in FAT/SAT, loop checks, and startup troubleshooting.
• Perform root-cause analysis and support maintenance programs.
