Job summary

NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC is seeking an Instrumentation and Control Technician to assist in installing, calibrating, inspecting, and maintaining plant instruments and control systems at Seabrook Station. This role supports safe, efficient operation under supervision.

You will read schematics and diagrams, perform routine preventative maintenance, participate in training, outages, and emergency drills, and help improve instrumentation processes while adhering to safety and QA standards.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Power Plant Maintenance Selection System (MASS) aptitude test required.
• Associate's Degree in a technical field or related field or equivalent education and/or experience. Must successfully complete progression/promotional/training examinations.
• One -two years of related instrumentation and control experience (ANSI/ANS 3.1-1993).

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, inspection, calibration, maintenance and repair of plant instrumentation and controls.
• Participate in plant and department training programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
• Read schematics and diagrams; perform routine preventive maintenance and calibration.
