Job summary

NextEra Energy Seabrook, LLC seeks an entry-level Instrumentation & Control Associate to assist with installation, calibration and repair of station instruments and control systems. You will work under direct supervision, participate in I&C training, and perform routine preventive maintenance, reading schematics and diagrams as needed.

The role emphasizes safety, regulatory compliance, and participation in non-routine outages and major projects while supporting the Seabrook Station operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in a technical field or related field or equivalent education and/or experience. Must successfully complete
• Must successfully complete progression/promotional/training examinations
• Zero to one year of related instrumentation and control experience. (Reference ANSI/ANS 3.1-1993)
• Successful completion of the Edison Electric Institute (EEI) Power Plant Maintenance Positions Selection System (MASS) aptitude test required

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, inspection, calibration, maintenance and repair of plant instrumentation and controls
• Participate in plant and I&C training programs and ongoing skill development
• Read schematics, drawings and logic diagrams; perform routine preventive maintenance
• Follow procedures, radiation protection, QA, safety rules and regulations
