Job summary

World Wide Professional Solutions (WWPS) is seeking an I&C Area Superintendent in Chandler, AZ. This role will lead labor requirements, ensure safety/code compliance, interpret plans, negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and drive project controls.

The candidate will coordinate with owners, engineers, and contractors, implement quality programs, and monitor performance to deliver projects on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Experience shaping labor requirements based on project scope.
• Familiarity with building and safety codes and regulations.
• Knowledge of plans and contract terms and conditions.
• Experience preparing, negotiating contracts and change orders.
• Experience investigating and reporting damages or delays on sites.
• Experience preparing and delivering budget estimates and cost reports.
• Proven ability to plan, manage and coordinate all aspects of a project schedule, scope and cost.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to align work with organizational goals.
• Deliver quality work by upholding core values.

Responsibilities

• Determine labor requirements and dispatch workers to sites.
• Inspect projects for compliance with codes and regulations.
• Explain plans and contract terms to staff and clients.
• Prepare and negotiate changes to contracts.
• Requisition supplies and materials for projects.
• Submit budget estimates and cost tracking reports.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors and design professionals.
• Investigate damages, accidents or delays and take corrective actions.
• Monitor team performance and implement improvements.
• Plan, manage and coordinate project scope, schedule and cost.
• Value engineer to identify savings and substitutions.
• Communicate with project stakeholders.
• Prepare project management plan and fee budget at outset.
• Ensure alignment with client's goals and standards.
• Develop action plans to guide project teams.
• Re-evaluate contract scope as project progresses.
• Coordinate with cost management for estimates and budget reconciliation.
• Maintain documentation and project records.
• Drive permitting processes with agencies.
• Ensure design management aligns with client documents.
• Prepare cost and revenue projections.
• Other duties as assigned.
