Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking an I&C and Network Engineering Intern to join the team in Devens, MA. The intern will contribute to network drawings, installation support, and field commissioning in a fast‑paced, safety‑driven environment.

Open to currently enrolled students across bachelor’s to PhD levels; 13–26 week program with 40–50 hours/week and on‑site work, plus strong growth opportunities within a leading fusion energy company.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an engineering degree with focus in IT, CIS, networking or CS.
• Demonstrated CAD experience and ability to read/produce drawings.
• Interest in networking infrastructure and hands‑on field work.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain network architecture and rack elevation drawings using CAD.
• Support installation and configuration of network equipment.
• Perform field walkdowns and support network installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities.
• Test and commission network infrastructure.
