Job summary

Bechtel seeks a Senior Instrumentation and Controls Specialist to supervise and execute commissioning and start-up activities at Port Arthur LNG. You will coordinate with other disciplines to complete testing from component level through integrated operation, ensuring work complies with safety, quality, and design specifications.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree or international equivalent with 8–10 years of relevant experience.
• Alternatively, 12–14 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup duties for installation configuration validation and work package development.
• Plan CSU execution activities and prepare work/test packages.
• Coordinate turnover walks and interface with Field Engineer.
• Initiate field purchases and track material quantities.
• Perform system walkdowns and ensure testing per specs and safety.
• Identify and address ES&H issues in the field.
