Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks an experienced Commissioning and Start-up Instrument & Control Lead for LNG projects. The role starts in the Houston home office, planning CSU I&C activities, then moves to Port Arthur, TX to supervise field commissioning and testing of instrumentation and controls.

The candidate will coordinate with management, engineering, construction, and vendors to meet schedule, safety, and quality goals, with relocation as a prerequisite.

Qualifications

Eight or more years of commissioning experience in cryogenic units such as LNG, Ethylene units, Petrochemical, and Gas Processing facilities.
In lieu of formal education, 15+ years of experience in cryogenic LNG/petrochemical facilities.
Strong knowledge of compressor, gas turbine, and liquid hydraulic turbine controls testing and troubleshooting.
Familiar with NFPA 70E, IEC, ISA, NFPA 59A standards.

Responsibilities

Define Instrumentation Testing Execution Plan and sequence for commissioning scope.
Submit daily and weekly progress reports to the Start-up Manager.
Participate in engineering design reviews and provide commissioning input to remove barriers.
Oversee development of instrumentation test procedures and review O&M manuals.
