Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation seeks a seasoned Commissioning and Start-up Instrument & Control Lead for the Port Arthur LNG project in Texas. The role starts in the Houston home office to plan sequencing, then moves to the PALNG site to supervise CSU I&C activities, ensuring rigorous safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Requires 8–14 years of experience in cryogenic LNG/ethlyene petrochemical facilities, plus a bachelor's degree in engineering.

Qualifications

• Requires extensive commissioning experience in cryogenic processing facilities.
• Knowledge of LNG, Ethylene or Petrochemical plant controls is essential.
• Familiarity with safety procedures (PTW, JHA, LOTO, STARRT) is required.

Responsibilities

• Define Instrumentation Testing Execution Plan and sequencing.
• Prepare progress reports for the Start-up Manager and leadership.
• Participate in design reviews and provide commissioning input.
• Develop instrument test procedures and review O&M manuals.
