Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking a Program Director to lead the successful execution of complex, multi-disciplinary aerospace programs spanning design, manufacturing, and flight test. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage budget and schedule, and drive strategic growth while ensuring compliance with security requirements.

The role demands strong executive communication, risk management, and decision-making under uncertainty in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Progressive program management experience in aerospace/defense/high-tech sectors.
• 15+ years in senior/principal program leadership roles (per education block).
• Experience with large multi-disciplinary programs and budgets >$100M.
• Ability to lead in dynamic, matrixed environments and with classified programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic program initiatives and present in executive forums and customer engagements.
• Oversee multiple concurrent programs with cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction responsibility.
• Drive adoption of advanced program management processes, tools, and best practices.
• Negotiate complex contracts and manage senior customer relationships; ensure alignment with objectives.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, procurement, finance, and legal.
