Job summary

Stratolaunch Huntsville seeks a Principal/Senior Program Manager to lead major missile-system development efforts across engineering, manufacturing, and testing. You will drive schedules, budgets, and technical requirements while managing cross-functional teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

The role requires heavy interaction with government partners and subcontractors, with a focus on risk management, governance, and strategic decision-making to ensure successful program execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior- or principal-level aerospace program management.
• Ability to make tough decisions in a technical environment.
• Proven track record managing large, multidisciplinary programs.
• Experience with subcontractors and defense contracting.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a TS security clearance.
• Strong executive communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the Program Manager, singular POC to the prime organization.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and testing.
• Oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance of the program.
• Forecast budgeting and align with organizational goals.
• Drive risk management, governance, and compliance across the program.
• Coordinate with government agencies and major defense contractors.
