Job summary

Stratolaunch seeks a Program Manager to deliver reliable launch platform projects and flight-ready aircraft capability for customers. You will own cost, schedule, and technical integration across service-center activities, coordinating cross-functional teams in a demanding environment to meet test objectives.

You will support flight test operations, manage budgets, mitigate risks, and drive affordability and efficiency while traveling as needed to support global operations.

Qualifications

• Experience leading engineers, technicians, testers and customers to deliver flight-ready aircraft.
• Ability to develop schedules and manage teams toward challenging test goals.
• Experience with program financial analysis including forecasts.
• Knowledge of both certified and experimental heavy aircraft.
• Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution and integration of launch platform projects on-schedule and on-budget.
• Own launch platform risks and drive closure with timely actions.
• Lead the service-center integration of aircraft modification and maintenance projects.
• Develop schedules and resource plans to complete all elements of execution.
• Track maintenance and costs; manage launch platform budgets.
• Support and plan for all variable flight costs (fuel, maintenance, crew flights).
• Drive affordability and efficiency to increase mission profitability.
• Lead Program Reviews for all launch platforms.
• Represent the program in internal and customer meetings; coordinate with Finance.
• Travel as required to support launch platform execution.
• Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity, and fulfill commitments.
