Job summary

Stratolaunch seeks a Program Manager to lead complex aerospace programs, spanning design, manufacturing, and flight test of reusable hypersonic test vehicles. The role requires guiding cross-functional teams in a strong matrixed environment and making tough programmatic decisions when information is incomplete.

The position emphasizes program oversight, strategic growth, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Onsite in Mojave, CA, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Progressive experience in technical and/or program management in aerospace/defense/high-tech sectors.
• Senior leadership role with responsibility for cost, schedule, and performance.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and make tough programmatic decisions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee concurrent programs with cost, schedule, technical performance, and customer satisfaction.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and revenue recognition for programs.
• Coordinate contracts, invoicing, and compliance with standards.
• Define long-term strategies with executive leadership and pursue growth opportunities.
• Manage risk, governance, and security requirements for classified programs.
• Mentor senior talent and drive organizational development and succession.
