Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• 12+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (Creo, CATIA, AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and PLM environments.
• GD&T knowledge per ASME Y14.5.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and configuration management.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for hypersonic vehicles.
• Create and maintain Technical Data Packages (TDP) including drawings, BOMs, and specifications.
• Manage and maintain interface control drawings and related documentation.
• Apply GD&T and perform tolerance analyses to support design decisions.
• Participate in design reviews and technical meetings across product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (structural, thermal, manufacturing, quality).
• Support prototype fabrication, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting.
