Job summary

Stratolaunch, located near Mojave, CA, seeks a Senior Director of Program Management to oversee multi-disciplinary programs spanning design, manufacturing, and flight test of hypersonic test vehicles. You will deliver customer satisfaction through program performance and lead a high-performing team.

The role requires 20+ years in aerospace program management, strong leadership, and experience with cost/schedule/technical performance. Travel to support programs is required.

Qualifications

• 20+ years of progressive experience in program management in aerospace/defense.
• Experience leading large, complex programs with budgets > $100M.
• Expertise in risk management, regulatory compliance, and subcontractor oversight.
• Ability to obtain TS security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Set strategic vision for program management in California and align with goals.
• Lead cross-functional teams and manage risk and budgets.
• Own recruiting and compensation for the Operations PMO.
• Provide regular program and portfolio status updates to executives.
