Job summary

Stratolaunch is seeking a Development Program Manager to oversee the Talon-A Launch System program. You will coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and contracts teams to align requirements, schedules, and milestones in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You will manage budgets, risks, and customer satisfaction, while interfacing with internal and external stakeholders to drive program success and strategic growth in hypersonic vehicle initiatives at Mojave, CA.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace program management and subcontracting.
• Experience with prototype manufacturing or low-rate production.
• Ability to obtain TS security clearance.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead an integrated product team through the full program life cycle.
• Develop budgets and schedules for managing assigned programs.
• Responsible for cost, schedule, and customer satisfaction.
• Make final decisions that affect cost and/or schedule constraints.
• Implement program management tools to facilitate execution.
• Develop statements of work and establish program gates and milestones.
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure subcontractors meet deadlines and budget.
• Assess risks and mitigation plans; lead proposals.
• Contribute to the company business plan with forecasts.
• Maintain regular communication with Sr. Programs Manager.
• Travel as needed to support the company and program.
