Job summary

Stratolaunch, LLC in Mojave, CA is seeking an Avionics Engineering Technician II or Sr to support design, integration, testing, and maintenance of Talon-A electrical and avionics systems. You will create shop definition, including drawings and wiring diagrams, and serve as liaison to install subsystems on the aircraft.

The role requires hands-on experience with aircraft electrical systems, CAD proficiency, and the ability to communicate with shop leads.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical engineering, avionics, experimental aircraft or launch vehicle integration.
• Experience integrating launch vehicle or aircraft electrical power systems.
• Experience creating shop instructions, wiring diagrams and drawings.
• Hands-on experience with aircraft electrical system installation.
• Ability to communicate technical challenges to varied audiences.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Experience with complex aerospace system development.
• Willingness to adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and avionics ground test issues.
• Design, manufacture, and operate electrical ground support equipment.
• Create drawings, wiring diagrams, and work instructions for subsystems.
• Troubleshoot documentation issues on the shop floor and provide real-time support.
• Communicate with lead regularly.
• Contribute to integration of complex aerospace systems.
• Travel as needed.
• Demonstrate honesty, responsibility and integrity.
