Job summary

Stratolaunch seeks an Electrical, Avionics Drafter to support design, integration, testing, and maintenance of electrical and avionics systems for carrier or hypersonic vehicles. The role involves generating wiring diagrams, developing system drawings, and defining BOMs while collaborating with harness engineers and manufacturing teams.

You will work with CAD tools like NX, CATIA, Mentor Graphics, and liaise with multiple disciplines to ensure successful delivery and validation of avionics

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electrical engineering, avionics, experimental aircraft and/or launch vehicle integration.
• Experience with Aerospace production documentation (drawings and work orders).
• Experience with PDM systems, Engineering control and revision control release processes.
• Familiarity with aerospace hardware such as connectors, relays, and wire types.
• Ability to communicate technical challenges to varied audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering documentation of Avionics and Electrical systems.
• Provide shop support to complete modifications of Avionics and Electrical systems.
• Develop test plans and procedures, as required.
• Contribute to integration of complex aerospace systems.
