Job summary

Stratolaunch in Mojave, CA seeks an Avionics Manufacturing Engineer (ME I–Sr) to design, integrate, test and maintain electrical and avionics systems for carrier or hypersonic vehicles. You will create work instructions, reference CAD models, and support shop operations with engineering liaison on the floor.

The role requires knowledge of aerospace documentation, power systems integration, and the ability to adapt to changing priorities while contributing to safety and performance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 0-2 years experience, or similar.
• Experience with aerospace production documentation and drawings.
• Familiar with shop instructions and aerospace hardware basics.

Responsibilities

• Create work instructions to fabricate or modify avionics subsystems.
• Develop tooling drawings and reference 3D CAD models.
• Troubleshoot shop documentation issues and provide on-site support.
• Support hypersonic vehicle integrated testing as needed.
• Travel to support department needs.
