Job summary

Stratolaunch, LLC in Mojave, CA is seeking a Propulsion Systems Manufacturing Engineer (ME level II or Sr) to support design, integration, testing and maintenance of propulsion systems for hypersonic and carrier vehicles. You will create work instructions, define manufacturing processes, and act as engineering liaison on the shop floor.

The role requires experience with SRM/HRM propulsion, aerospace hardware, CAD models, and documentation control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 2–5 years (Level II) or 5–10 years (Sr) experience
• Experience with propulsion systems and aerospace hardware components
• Experience with propulsion manufacturing documentation and shop instructions
• Familiarity with 3D CAD and engineering drawing standards
• Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance

Responsibilities

• Create work instructions to fabricate, install or modify propulsion systems
• Reference 3D CAD models and generate 2D drawings and tooling instructions
• Support shop as engineering liaison to resolve documentation issues
• Troubleshoot propulsion mechanical systems and ground test integration
• Develop test plans and procedures for ATP and systems testing
• Contribute to shop layout, setup and continuous improvement
• Travel as needed to support the department
