Job summary

Ericsson in Plano, TX is seeking a data center Delivery Manager to lead a high-performing team of technicians and ensure reliable data center operations.

You will partner with Talent Acquisition to attract and onboard talent, manage ramp-up for large projects, and drive safety, quality, and process improvements across installation, maintenance and documentation. This role demands strong leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in data center operations.
• 4+ years of direct people-management experience.
• Proven ability to hire, coach, develop, motivate, and retain technical talent.
• Strong workforce planning, demand forecasting, resource allocation, and shift-management skills.
• Working knowledge of data center infrastructure and hardware lifecycle management.
• Experience leading incident response, escalations, and root-cause analysis.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and operational discipline.
• Data-driven approach to performance management and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with customers, vendors, and teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and inspire a high-performing technical team through trust, inclusion, accountability, safety, and learning.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to attract, assess, and hire technicians in a competitive market.
• Lead onboarding through practical training, mentoring, and early-career support.
• Develop talent and future leaders through coaching, career planning, and growth opportunities.
• Own workforce planning by aligning staffing, shifts, and coverage with needs.
• Manage ramp-up and ramp-down for large projects amid changing requirements.
• Drive operational excellence across installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, inventory, and documentation.
• Champion safety, quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across data center operations.
• Lead incident response and escalations with root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Build strong customer and cross-functional partnerships for reliable data center operations.
