Job summary

Atlas Connections is seeking a Director of Project Management with deep expertise in hyperscale data center construction and infrastructure delivery. This leader will guide a team of Project Managers on multiple concurrent $10M+ programs, owning P&L and driving operational excellence.

The role is remote with East Coast preference and requires 25-30% travel. You will partner with customers and internal teams to execute contracts from award to closeout, improve processes, and support business

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing both senior and junior Project Managers.
• Experience delivering multiple large-scale projects valued at $10M+.
• Extensive experience within hyperscale data centers, mission-critical environments, core/shell construction, or technology fit-out (TFO) projects.
• Strong financial acumen, including P&L responsibility, forecasting, budgeting, and operational performance management.
• Ability to interpret contracts, project schedules, construction documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.
• Experience supporting customer growth initiatives, business development, and strategic planning.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Project Managers to achieve operational, financial, and customer satisfaction objectives.
• Maintain joint ownership of Hyperscale Program P&L performance, revenue growth, profitability, and resource utilization.
• Oversee the successful execution of contracts from award through project closeout, ensuring delivery commitments are met.
• Drive operational efficiencies, process improvements, and best practices across project delivery teams.
• Support business development efforts, including customer relationship management, sales strategy, bid support, and new market opportunities.
• Ensure Project Managers comply with operational standards throughout all project phases, including presales, planning, delivery, closeout, and post-installation support.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with hyperscale customers, general contractors, channel partners, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor performance metrics and provide continuous coaching, performance management, and professional development.
