Job summary

SST Direct is seeking a Project Manager to lead planning, budgeting, and delivery of hyperscale data center projects from preconstruction through handover. You will manage schedules with Primavera P6 and MS Project, control budgets, and coordinate with design, construction, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role requires travel to sites (around 50%+), strong leadership, and a track record of fast-track, multi-site delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is required.
• 10+ years of project management experience in data center or large infrastructure construction.
• Experience with hyperscale data centers or mission-critical facilities preferred.
• PMI-PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all phases of data center construction from kickoff to turnover.
• Develop and manage integrated project schedules with Primavera P6 and MS Project.
• Own budgets, cash flow, cost tracking, change orders, and reporting.
• Coordinate with Design, Construction, Engineering, Procurement, Commissioning, and Operations.
• Facilitate design reviews, planning sessions, and maintain project documentation.
• Manage procurement activities and contract administration.
• Identify and mitigate project risks affecting scope, schedule, and budget.
• Monitor KPIs, prepare executive dashboards, and report to leadership.
• Lead cross-functional teams across multiple regions and provide coaching.
• Conduct stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives to drive improvement.
• Ensure compliance with contracts, standards, safety, and building codes.
• Build relationships with owners, contractors, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Support multiple fast-track projects while balancing priorities.
• Utilize Primavera P6, MS Project, Procore, Ares, Smartsheet, Confluence, and Excel for execution.
