Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a Senior Hyperscale Data Center Solutions Engineer in California to guide complex build-to-suit projects and engage directly with Hyperscale clients. You will lead technical evaluations, design reviews, and cross‑functional teams through RFP/RFI processes.

You will interpret CFD results, present architecture concepts, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring on‑time delivery and financial alignment with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in engineering or science; related military service considered.
• 5+ years data center solution design experience.
• Minimum 2 years direct hyperscale customer engagement.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical lead for Hyperscale engagements and align solutions to requirements.
• Lead cross-functional response teams for RFP/RFI submissions with accuracy.
• Present Prime’s architecture and delivery approach to clients during evaluations.
• Interpret CFD outputs and translate results into actionable narratives for clients.
• Conduct Bluebeam markup sessions and coordinate design revisions in real time.
• Explain on-site power generation and resiliency aspects for due diligence.
