Job summary

Prime Data Centers is seeking a Director, Design to lead the execution and evolution of our data center design platform. You will drive end-to-end design across multiple projects, establish standards, and partner with internal teams and external partners to ensure scalable, high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in design, engineering, or delivery of large-scale facilities.
• Experience guiding multidisciplinary design/engineering teams across functions.
• Strong communication with executives and stakeholders.
• Ability to balance speed, quality, risk, and customer expectations.
• Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design execution for multiple data center developments from concept to IFC and closeout.
• Align design with standards, customer requirements, operations, and regulatory needs.
• Escalate and resolve complex technical, coordination, and delivery challenges.
• Lead cross-functional teams across Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and other disciplines.
• Establish design standards, governance, templates, and best practices.
• Partner with Development, Operations, Procurement, Sales, and Executive Leadership.
