Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction safety management on large projects.
• CHST required; CSP preferred.
• Smith System Trainer and IVES Trainer certifications required.
• OSHA 500 Authorized Outreach Trainer or willing to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the site Health and Safety Plan per OSHA regs.
• Monitor TRIR, DART, and leading indicators; drive corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and ensure corrective actions close out.
• Maintain OSHA 300, 300A, 301 records and SDS library.
• Represent the company to OSHA, insurers, and owner safety teams.
• Deliver in-house driver training, forklift, MEWP, and OSHA courses.
• Conduct new-hire safety orientations and toolbox talks.
• Maintain trainer certifications and training records.
• Develop training materials reflecting regs and site hazards.
• Mentor Site Safety Coordinators on compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams to align safety with construction.
• Participate in pre-construction planning and daily huddles.
• Perform other duties as needed.
