Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking a Safety Training Manager for field-based roles on active hyperscale data center projects in Texas. You will lead safety programs, deliver in-house certifications, and oversee OSHA compliance for multiple trades and subcontractors.

The role requires strong incident investigation skills, training delivery expertise, and a track record of managing complex safety programs on industrial construction sites. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction safety management on hyperscale or industrial projects.
• CHST and CSP certifications; OSHA 500 training within 6 months of hire preferred.
• Experience leading multi-trade safety programs on active construction sites.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Experience with owner-representative projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the site's Health and Safety Plan and ensure OSHA compliance.
• Monitor safety metrics (TRIR, DART) and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents/near-misses; close out CAPs.
• Maintain OSHA 300/300A/301, SDS library, training matrix and records.
• Represent the company to OSHA, insurers, and safety teams.
• Deliver in-house training (Smith System, IVES, OSHA 10/30, First Aid/CPR).
• Mentor Site Safety Coordinators and align safety with construction activities.
• Engage in pre-construction planning and daily safety coordination meetings.
