Job summary

TESIM Electric is seeking a Safety Manager to design and run a comprehensive safety program for hyperscale data-center projects. You will develop policies, procedures, JHAs, SOPs, and training curricula, and conduct daily on-site safety walks with foremen.

You’ll ensure compliance with OSHA, workers’ comp, DOL, and EMR management; prepare qualification packages for owners and GCs; and lead training such as OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, CPR/First Aid. Strong field coaching is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in construction safety with electrical or mission-critical focus.
• OSHA 500 or 510 certification; CHST or CSP is a plus.
• Knowledge of NFPA 70E and arc-flash requirements.
• Ability to coach safety with foremen and craft on site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain written safety programs: policies, procedures, JHAs, SOPs, and training curricula.
• Conduct daily jobsite safety walks and toolbox talks with foremen.
• Ensure compliance: OSHA, workers' compensation, DOT, EMR management, incident investigation and reporting.
• Prepare safety qualification packages for owners and GCs (ISNetworld, Avetta, Veriforce).
• Lead safety training programs: OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, CPR/First Aid, and task-specific certifications.
• Monitor safety metrics and drive improvement.
