Job summary

CEC Companies is seeking a Safety Training Manager to lead site safety on hyperscale data center construction projects. You will oversee OSHA compliance, deliver in-house certification training, and manage workforce certification across trades and subcontractors.

The role requires field-based leadership, incident investigation, and the development of safety programs. Strong certifications and multi-site coordination are preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety management on mission-critical/industrial or hyperscale data center projects.
• CHST required; CSP strongly preferred.
• OSHA 500 Authorized Outreach Trainer for Construction required, or willingness to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Construction Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the site Health and Safety Plan, ensuring OSHA compliance across trades.
• Monitor safety metrics and drive corrective actions.
• Investigate incidents and root causes; ensure corrective actions are closed.
• Maintain OSHA records and safety documentation.
• Represent the company to OSHA and safety stakeholders.
• Deliver in-house safety training including driver, operator, and first aid courses.
• Develop and update training materials to reflect requirements and hazards.
• Mentor Site Safety Coordinators and align safety with construction activities.
• Collaborate with project management and subcontractors on safety execution.
