Job summary

CEC Companies seeks a Safety Training Manager to lead field safety on active hyperscale data center projects. You will deliver in-house training, maintain OSHA records, and enforce safety standards across trades with stop-work authority when needed.

The role requires CHST; CSP and OSHA 500Trainer credentials are preferred, plus extensive experience with safety programs and incident investigations in large construction sites.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction safety management.
• CHST required; CSP strongly preferred.
• OSHA 500 Authorized Outreach Trainer required or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
• Smith System Certified Trainer and IVES Certified Trainer (forklift, AWP, MEWP) required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Construction Management preferred.
• Experience on hyperscale data center projects preferred.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and administer the site Health and Safety Plan per OSHA and company standards.
• Monitor safety metrics, investigate incidents, and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA 300/300A/301 records and safety documentation.
• Deliver in-house training including Smith System, IVES, OSHA 10/30, First Aid, CPR.
• Lead new-hire safety orientations and toolbox talks.
• Collaborate with project management and subcontractors to align safety requirements.
• Mentor Site Safety Coordinators and support safety program execution.
