Job summary

KALCON seeks a CSA QAQC Manager to lead the quality program for hyperscale data center construction in Fredericksburg, VA. You will plan, implement, and manage QA/QC across civil, structural, and architectural scopes.

Responsibilities include inspections, managing ITPs, reviewing submittals, coordinating with subcontractors, and driving continuous improvement. The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and thorough documentation in Procore and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction-related field or equivalent experience.
• 7–10+ years of QA/QC or construction management experience.
• Experience on hyperscale data center or large commercial projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of earthwork, utilities, concrete, reinforcing steel, structural steel, roofing, envelopes, and finishes.
• Experience with inspection and testing programs.
• Experience with Procore, ACC, BIM 360, Bluebeam, or similar software.
• Ability to review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and test reports.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and administration of the CSA QA/QC program.
• Ensure Civil, Structural, and Architectural work complies with documents, specs, submittals, codes, and owner requirements.
• Establish, maintain, and enforce quality standards and inspection procedures across all project phases.
• Perform routine field inspections and quality audits to verify workmanship and material compliance.
• Coordinate preparatory, initial, benchmark, First-of-Kind, and follow-up inspections.
• Review subcontractor quality control programs and ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and ensure required inspections are completed before progression.
• Oversee QC activities for site civil construction including earthwork, utilities, drainage, paving, and site improvements.
• Verify compaction testing, utility testing, material certifications, and NC/deficiency resolution.
