Job summary

KALCON is seeking a QA/QC Manager to lead quality control programs across complex construction projects, with a focus on civil, structural, and architectural scopes. You will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to implement structured QC processes and drive continuous improvement on a Data Center project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Solid Civil and Structural QAQC background for construction.
• Experience on Data Center or mission-critical projects.
• Familiar with QA/QC processes in construction or MEP projects.
• Proficient with Procore and Cx Alloy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage documentation and inspection workflows.
• Willingness to work onsite full-time.

Responsibilities

• Provide Client representation as the General Contractor QA/QC Manager for a Data Center project.
• Lead the Planning Phase of the Quality Control Program with Site Operations teams.
• Develop site-specific QC Programs and obtain Senior QC Manager approval.
• Lead daily QC huddles and reinforce quality expectations.
• Mentor, supervise, and train QC staff to ensure consistent standards.
• Create tailored meeting agendas and inspection templates for each Field of Work.
• Support four-step QC Program across each Field of Work.
• Attend initial meetings and provide feedback to improve efficiency.
• Analyze performance metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and suggest solutions.
• Submit monthly QC performance reports highlighting trends and issues.
• Track QC documentation, including third-party tests and inspections.
• Ensure CSA and MEP QC docs are uploaded in Procore or CX Alloy.
• Collaborate with MEP Managers and Superintendents on commissioning docs.
• Provide weekly QC status reports to Senior QC Manager.
• Attend client meetings to report QC activities and gather feedback.
• Promote safe work practices throughout the QC program.
• Manage subcontractor participation in the QCP.
• Audit daily reports and logs for program alignment.
• Serve as primary interface with client representatives for QC matters.
• Support milestone delivery and project phase quality expectations.
• Handle multiple projects and adapt QC strategies as needed.
• Develop and maintain tracking logs for deliverables and deficiencies.
• Participate in candidate interviews for the QCS Group.
• Complete tasks assigned by Senior Manager, Quality Control.
• Provide training on QC tools and processes.
