Job summary

Allegis Global Solutions is seeking an experienced Construction Manager (Contract) to oversee quality assurance and quality control across a large hyperscale data center program in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead on-site QA/QC efforts, drive defect prevention, ensure documentation integrity, and coordinate with construction managers, engineers, and operations to deliver compliant systems on schedule.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in quality assurance, quality control, commissioning, field engineering, or construction management.
• Minimum 5 years direct QA/QC program management on data center, mission-critical, industrial, semiconductor, or pharma projects.
• Minimum 7 years overseeing installation, testing, and quality verification of complex MEP, controls, and telecom systems.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; commissioning and quality management certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve project quality plans and inspection programs across all construction scopes.
• Conduct daily site walks to verify compliance with drawings, specs, submittals, and manufacturer requirements.
• Perform field inspections across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and telecom disciplines to identify quality issues.
• Lead quality audits, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
• Drive NCR closure within established cycle times and ensure documentation accuracy.
