Job summary

Align Communications is seeking an Electrical Project Manager for hyperscale data center fit-out work in the Atlanta metro area. You will lead on-site teams, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure quality and safety across electrical distribution systems from upstream equipment to IT loads.

The role requires 5+ years in mission-critical electrical construction, strong knowledge of NEC/OSHA codes, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years managing mission-critical electrical construction projects (data centers preferred).
• Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and redundancy strategies.
• Experience with commissioning, load testing, and power systems (PDUs, RPPs, STS, etc.).
• Ability to read construction drawings and manage subcontractors.
• Knowledge of NEC, OSHA, and related codes.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of data center white space electrical projects (scope, schedule, budget, quality).
• Act as the on-site lead coordinating subcontractors and trades.
• Manage subcontractors from kickoff through closeout.
• Track risks, changes, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
• Lead QA/QC and resolve field issues.
• Oversee design and installation of electrical distribution systems.
• Review drawings, submittals, RFIs, and ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Support commissioning, testing, and turnover activities.
