Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Planning Lead to drive early-phase planning for hyperscale data centers and large-scale infrastructure. You will shape cost, schedule, and constructability strategy, coordinating with site selection, energy, product design, network, and delivery teams to enable on-time break ground decisions.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in construction management, preconstruction, or related fields.
• Experience with hyperscale data center construction and ground-up development.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling interdependencies and critical path.
• Experience coordinating across internal/external teams to align scope, schedule, and cost.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-level path-to-break-ground schedules incorporating site conditions, labor, design type, permitting, and seasonality.
• Create schedules from lease turnover to provision readiness focusing on fiber build.
• Build programmatic scheduling frameworks and conduct critical path analyses for design kickoff.
• Lead constructability reviews to influence design decisions for safety and schedule predictability.
• Provide real-time feedback on target pricing, VE, and financial models for leadership decisions.
• Set project cost and schedule targets and track milestones with risk escalation.
• Manage transitions from planning to preconstruction across regions/products.
