Job summary

Meta seeks a Data Center Location Strategy Manager to drive the long-range site selection and geographic portfolio strategy for its hyperscale infrastructure. You will evaluate power, land, connectivity, regulatory environments, and community impact across markets to inform multi-year capital deployment decisions.

You will lead site feasibility assessments, build quantitative models, and develop evaluation frameworks.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in data center site selection or related field
• Experience engaging with utilities, government agencies, and economic development bodies
• Experience driving cross-functional alignment on long-range infrastructure strategy
• Experience leading multi-market site selection for hyperscale data centers
• Experience developing financial and operational models for capex decisions

Responsibilities

• Define and own Meta's multi-year global data center location strategy
• Lead site feasibility assessments evaluating power, land, fiber, climate risk, and TCO
• Maintain a global pipeline of prospective sites with cross-functional teams
• Build models to compare site options and present executive-level recommendations
• Develop frameworks to evaluate and rank markets globally
• Represent location strategy in cross-functional planning forums
• Drive commercial solutions through negotiations with vendors and partners
• Provide strategic guidance on market opportunities and risks
• Mentor capacity planning and site selection team
