Qualifications

• Experience developing systems software or automation tooling in Python, Bash, PHP, C, or C++ for Linux-based production environments at scale.
• Experience with production systems configuration and maintenance including web servers, load balancers, databases, storage and messaging systems.
• Strong communication of technical designs and cloud infrastructure decisions across engineering and operations teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and root cause systemic issues across the cloud server fleet to maximize uptime.
• Write, review, and maintain code for diagnostic and cloud automation tooling.
• Own and develop diagnostic tooling requirements for frontline operations teams.
• Drive escalation for data center operations to resolve complex cloud tooling and hardware issues.
• Validate new cloud product integrations into production environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional cloud tooling teams on roadmaps.
• Perform deep data analysis to prioritize automation opportunities for server repair workflows.
• Build relationships to improve global cloud data center operations efficiency.
• Mentor engineers on resolving fleet issues and tool improvements.
• Travel up to 25% to support global data center operations.
