Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years in production systems engineering or related field.
• Experience with large-scale cloud environments.
• Experience developing automation tooling.
• Proficient in Python/Bash/C/C++ for Linux production systems.
• Strong written communication across engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify and root cause systemic issues across the cloud server fleet to maximize uptime and utilization.
• Write and maintain code for diagnostic and cloud automation tooling.
• Develop diagnostic tooling requirements for frontline operations teams.
• Lead escalation for cloud tooling and hardware issues affecting fleet health.
• Validate and verify new cloud product integrations in production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional cloud tooling teams on roadmaps.
• Analyze data to prioritize cloud automation opportunities for repair workflows.
• Build cross-functional relationships to improve global data center operations.
• Mentor engineers on diagnosing cloud fleet issues and tools improvements.
• Travel up to 25% to support global data center operations.
