Meta is seeking an experienced Cloud Production Systems Engineer to join the Data Center Operations team. You will analyze telemetry, prioritize automation opportunities, and develop tooling in Python, Bash, C, or C++ for Linux production environments at scale, collaborating with global teams.

You will own diagnostic tooling, drive incident resolutions, mentor engineers, and help evolve processes for hyperscale data centers.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS/CE or related field.
• 7+ years in production systems engineering or similar in large-scale cloud environments.
• 7+ years with hardware lifecycle management, fleet automation, or data center ops.
• Experience developing systems software or automation tooling in Python, Bash, PHP, C, or C++ for Linux-based production environments.
• Experience with production systems configuration/maintenance including web servers, load balancers, databases, storage, messaging.
• Experience communicating designs and infrastructure decisions in writing with cross-functional teams.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and root cause systemic issues across the cloud server fleet to maximize uptime and utilization.
• Write, review, and maintain code for diagnostic and cloud automation tooling.
• Own and develop diagnostic tooling requirements for frontline operations teams.
• Drive the escalation process to identify and resolve complex tooling and hardware issues.
• Validate new cloud product integration into the production environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional cloud tooling teams to influence roadmaps.
• Perform deep data analysis to prioritize automation opportunities for server repair workflows.
• Build cross-functional relationships and influence policies to improve global operations.
• Mentor engineers on resolving fleet issues and tool/process improvements.
• Travel up to 25% for global data center operations and deployments.
