Job summary

Meta is seeking an experienced Cloud Production Systems Engineer to join the Data Center Operations team. This role focuses on cloud automation solutions for hyperscale environments and partners with AWS, GCP, CoreWeave, and other NeoCloud.

You will analyze data to prioritize server repair automation, develop diagnostic tooling, and collaborate with global teams. Travel up to 25% for deployments and on-site support, mentoring engineers and shaping tooling roadmaps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in production systems engineering or large-scale cloud environments.
• Experience with Python, Bash, C/C++ for Linux-based production environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify and root cause systemic issues across the cloud server fleet to maximize uptime and utilization.
• Write, review, and maintain code for diagnostic and cloud automation tooling.
• Own and develop diagnostic tooling requirements for frontline operations teams.
• Drive the escalation process to identify and resolve complex cloud tooling and hardware issues.
• Execute operational validation and verification for new cloud product integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional cloud tooling teams on roadmaps and open issues.
• Perform data analysis to prioritize cloud automation opportunities for server repair workflows.
• Build cross-functional relationships to improve global cloud data center operations efficiency.
• Mentor engineers on resolving fleet issues and improving tools and processes.
• Travel up to 25% to support global data center operations.
